Welcome Baby Lucy

Two days after Peyton's third birthday (and 4 days after her due date), we welcomed baby Lucy to the family! Born at 10:00am after 10 hours of labor, weighing 7lbs and 10oz, and 19.75 inches long with a full head of hair. She is beautiful and big brother Peyton loves her so much.

When our parents brought Peyton to the hospital, he fell asleep in the car and ended up napping for the first couple hours when all the visitors were here. He finally woke up after everyone had left and we were surprised at how excited he was to see her, and how much he wanted to hold her.

Now that we're back at home, Lucy has been sleeping pretty well and drinking lots of milk. Peyton enjoys helping mommy and daddy out and adores his mae mae, always asking why she doesn't wake up to play with him or requesting to hold her in his lap.
