Seven Months Old: Week 3

This week, Peyton has been getting stronger and stronger. He still hasn't figured out that crawling would be a lot easier if he just lifted his belly off the ground, but he is able to hold himself up really well on his arms. On Saturday night, he was refusing to go to bed and managed to pull himself up to a standing position in his crib! He hasn't done it since, so we haven't captured it on camera yet.

He is also learning "object permanence" - in the past, if he couldn't see his toy, it must no longer exist. Now, he'll search for toys that have fallen out of reach, and even crawled out into the hallway searching for mommy on Monday morning.

Grocery shopping is fun with auntie Gloria!
